Digiforms
Digiforms enables the automatic recognition and transfer of handwritten information directly into back office systems or applications, eliminating the need for intermediate retyping or reprocessing.
It makes use of two technologies.
The first is the tablet PC, which removes the need for paper completely and provides a rich, interactive data capture environment. The second is the digital pen, a device which stores the information written by the user by means of an onboard camera and specially printed paper. The digital pen can be used in conjunction with a laptop or can send data via the internet using a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.
Software on the tablet, laptop or on the web server performs the necessary handwriting recognition and seamlessly transfers the data.
